Team presentation
The Omics Data Science Unit is a translational research team integrated within the Scientific and Translational Research Department of the Institut de Cancérologie de l'Ouest, an OECI-accredited Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Our team mainly focuses on the development of precision medicine for breast cancer therapy. More broadly, we are specialized in data sciences applied to translational and fundamental research projects in cancerology, and works specifically on mono- or multi- omics data analysis (transcriptomics, proteomics, genomics, radiomics...). Through its members, the team possess a strong expertise in biology, oncology, computer science and mathematics. We also collaborate closely with mathematics and computer science laboratories in Angers (LAREMA and LERIA ) and Nantes (Ecole Centrale de Nantes and Jean Leray).
